Unlocking Opportunities: Pathway to Employment Resources

Without farming, we can't win the fight against hunger. Our food, our water, our environment, our survival it all depends on American agricultural.

Our Mission

To increase awareness to socially disadvantaged and low-income individuals in and around Central Arkansas about urban farming, food insecurity, poverty and equality in advancing underserved communities and small-scale agriculture, through training these individuals and supporting the community leaders to build and manage raised beds, urban farms and community gardens.

The Pathway to Food Security and Equity grant will provide direct assistance to individuals and groups in and around Central Arkansas. This project will increase awareness of NRCS through workshops, demonstration projects, and social media. Also, it will assist socially disadvantaged individuals in requesting USDA assistance while increasing NRCS program participation.

 Bookkeeper / Business Manager 

 This position provides technical support for USDA grant projects for the Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation. Ability to manage multiple funding categories for grant operations and work closely with the Budget Manager to maintain fiscal integrity.

 Program Manager / Grants Coordinator 

 This position provides technical support for USDA grant projects for the Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation. Applicant should be experience in overseeing and managing Federal grant programs. The ideal candidate shall be responsible for planning, executing and overseeing mini grants distributed by CASF, and working with multiple grants coordinating activities, workshops, etc.
